Radyo TOGÜ, Established with the Contributions of Erbaa Vocational School, Opens

Radyo TOGÜ, which will bring a new dimension to the corporate communication activities of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University (TOGÜ), has begun broadcasting on the 88.7 FM frequency. We wish it every success.

The project titled “TOGÜ RADIO: Establishment of a Radio Studio to Strengthen University-City Communication,” carried out by Erbaa Vocational School, has been completed. The radio station was established under the coordination of Dr. İrfan Usta, Director of Erbaa Vocational School, with the contributions of the project team consisting of academic staff from the Radio and Television Programming Program of Erbaa Vocational School. After a period of test broadcasting, the primary aims of the radio station are to bring the University’s academic, cultural, and social activities and student projects to wider audiences, contribute to informing the public, and support the education of students in the relevant field.

The opening of the radio studio, located on the upper floor of the Central Library, was held with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz.

As the first broadcast guest of Radyo TOGÜ, Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz appeared on the “Misafir Köşesi” (Guest Corner) program. During the program, he addressed important topics including strengthening communication between the University and the city, expanding academic and social contribution activities, the Tazelenme University, TOGÜ Store, TOGÜ Publishing House and cultural-artistic events, Solar Power Plant (GES) investments, and projects planned for the upcoming period.

Rector Yılmaz stated that Radyo TOGÜ would continue to expand its broadcasting range in the coming period with an increasingly diverse selection of programs and guests.

We would like to thank Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz in particular, as well as all academic and technical staff and relevant units that contributed to the realization of this important project. As Erbaa Vocational School, we are pleased to continue implementing similar projects that support the University’s goals in education, practice-oriented learning, and social contribution.
