Within the scope of the Project Preparation Techniques course, the exterior walls of Kardelen Kindergarten were designed and painted by second-year students of the Graphic Design Program under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Kum.
As part of the project, colorful and educational character illustrations suitable for the developmental levels of kindergarten students aged 3-6 were created. The students actively participated in every stage of the process, from design development to implementation, transforming the school walls into a visually engaging space for children.
Through this practice, the project aimed to improve the students’ skills in project development, teamwork, surface design, and applied visual communication. At the same time, it contributed to creating a more vibrant, enjoyable, and learning-supportive educational environment for kindergarten students.
