The project titled “Touristic Map Design for Erbaa District and Improvement of Visitor Experience” has been awarded support under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program.
Representing a significant achievement in line with our university’s vision of research, project development, and student-oriented scientific production, the project also stands as a concrete outcome of the educational approach prioritized by our Directorate, which emphasizes applied learning, local development, and student-centered academic practices.
The academic advisor of the project is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Kum. The project team consists of undergraduate researchers Zeynep Sipahi, Azze Aleyna Ulu, Diyar Abiri, and Emirhan Acıelma.
The project aims to increase the visibility of Erbaa’s tourism potential, improve visitor experience, and strengthen promotional materials related to the district through an integrated approach combining academic knowledge, design perspectives, and local values. The touristic map and visitor-oriented content to be developed within the project are expected to contribute to the promotion of the region.
We congratulate the project team on this achievement, which is important in terms of strengthening research culture, encouraging students’ active participation in project-based academic processes, and increasing scientific production capacity, and we wish them continued success in their studies.
