The “Firefighting Volunteer Training and Certification Program,” organized in cooperation with the Directorate of Erbaa Vocational School, the Directorate of Erbaa Health Services Vocational School, and the Erbaa Forest Management Directorate, has been successfully completed with a theoretical session held at our campus conference hall, followed by a practical demonstration in the courtyard.
The program was attended by our Vice Director Lect. Dr. Güler Uzun, the trainer Mr. Engin Keleş, Head of the Forest Fire Fighting Department at Amasya Regional Directorate of Forestry, Mr. Hakan Fakiroğlu, Director of Erbaa Forest Management, as well as our academic and administrative staff and a large number of students.
Following the training session, participants took the “Firefighting Volunteer Training Evaluation Exam.” Certificates were awarded to those who successfully passed the exam on a voluntary basis. At the end of the program, a plaque was presented to Mr. Engin Keleş by our Vice Director Lect. Dr. Güler Uzun in recognition of his contributions, and certificates were distributed to the participants.
As part of the program, firefighting equipment including fire engines, water supply vehicles, and personal protective gear were introduced in the campus courtyard, providing participants with the opportunity to closely examine and practically experience the equipment.
As the Directorate of Erbaa Vocational School, we consider it a primary educational objective to raise individuals who are not only academically competent but also possess a strong sense of social responsibility and awareness of disasters and emergency situations. In this regard, we continue to carry out practice-oriented educational activities in cooperation with public institutions.
We would like to thank all institutional representatives, staff members, and students for their participation and contributions. 22.04.2026
