A Strong Industry Collaboration from Our Fashion Design Program
Kelkit Newspaper reported on the cooperation protocol signed between our Vocational School’s Fashion Design Program and Darsateks Tekstil. This collaboration aims to directly contribute to our students’ applied learning processes.
Within the scope of the signed protocol, students of the Fashion Design Program are expected to observe production processes on-site and gain direct experience in sectoral practices. In this context, our students will actively take part in the production field and have the opportunity to integrate their theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
The collaboration is designed not only to enhance students’ professional knowledge and skills but also to contribute to the development of a qualified workforce needed by the sector. In addition, it is anticipated that the educational process will be carried out in a structure integrated with industry practices.
This development, featured in the local press, increases the visibility of our Vocational School’s practice-oriented educational approach and its strong collaborations with industry. The protocol is expected to contribute to our students’ career development as well as to regional development.
As the Directorate of our Vocational School, it is acknowledged that such collaborations strengthening university-industry interaction enhance the quality of educational processes and support students’ adaptation to the sector. In this regard, we extend our appreciation to all stakeholders who contributed and expect that the collaboration will yield sustainable outcomes and translate into tangible gains for our students.
