Second-year students of the Computer Programming Program at our Vocational School conducted a technical field trip to the Erbaa Organized Industrial Zone under the supervision of Lect. Yasin Ünal. The activity aimed to integrate students’ theoretical knowledge with practical applications and to provide them with sectoral experience.
As part of the technical visit, ERBAA HAS YAPRAK production and packaging facility was visited first. Company officials delivered a comprehensive presentation on the firm’s fields of activity and provided detailed information on the machinery used in production processes as well as the digital production infrastructure. Students had the opportunity to observe production organization and technological systems on-site.
Subsequently, PARK VİZYON, another company operating within the Erbaa OIZ, was visited. During the presentation conducted by company representatives, students were informed about the production line, advanced manufacturing technologies, and sectoral operations. This enabled students to comparatively evaluate production processes across different sectors.
Through these visits, students gained the opportunity to observe current software and automation applications in real production environments, obtain direct insights into sectoral expectations, and acquire experiences that can guide their future career planning.
Such practice-oriented activities, which constitute a concrete example of university-industry collaboration, significantly contribute to enhancing students’ employability, strengthening the relationship between theory and practice, and accelerating their adaptation to the professional field.
We would like to thank the managers and staff of ERBAA HAS YAPRAK and PARK VİZYON for their hospitality, interest, and valuable contributions to the successful realization of this technical field trip. 02.04.2026
