Seminars and individual counseling activities were carried out on our campus by the expert staff of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Application and Research Center (PDRMER) in order to support students’ academic and personal development, enhance their psychological well-being, and raise awareness on current issues. The events attracted significant interest from students.
Within the scope of the seminar program held in the Conference Hall of our campus, two main topics were addressed by Lecturer Kübra Gürel (Artova Vocational School) and Psychologist Cansu Bingöl (PDRMER). The first seminar focused on “Stress Management and Coping Techniques.” In this context, students were provided with comprehensive information on the causes of stress, its effects on daily life, and effective methods for coping with stress. Supported by practical examples, the session aimed to help students manage the stress factors they encounter in their academic and social lives in a healthier manner.

The second seminar addressed the topic of “Effective Use of Social Media.” In this session, issues such as conscious use of social media, digital balance, online risks, and the psychological effects of social media on individuals were examined from multiple perspectives. Students were offered practical recommendations to develop awareness in social media use and were encouraged to adopt a more conscious and balanced digital user profile.
In addition to the seminar program, face-to-face and individual psychological counseling sessions were conducted in the Meeting Hall of our campus for students who requested support. Within this scope, guidance services were provided in line with students’ needs and expectations, and a safe communication environment was established where students could express themselves freely.
Through these activities, it is aimed to enhance students’ psychological resilience, support their academic success, and improve their digital life skills. The events are considered a significant initiative contributing to the holistic development of students. 01.04.2026
