Express the Family Through Art, Keep It Alive” Painting Contest Concludes

The painting contest titled “Express the Family Through Art, Keep It Alive,” organized by Erbaa Municipality during the mid-term holiday, has concluded. Awards were presented to the winning students by Erbaa Mayor Ertuğrul Karagöl.
Organized by Erbaa Municipality, the competition aimed to strengthen family communication, support family values, and encourage students to express their emotions, thoughts, and experiences related to the concept of family through visual arts.
A large number of primary and secondary school students participated in the contest. Following the evaluation conducted by the jury, Emir Aras Türkyılmaz was awarded first place, Doruk Alp Ünal second place, and Berkay Arıkan third place. Ela Hüseyinoğlu and Hatice Hira Kılınç received honorable mention awards.
Awards and plaques were presented by Erbaa Mayor Ertuğrul Karagöl to the winning students and jury members, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Kum, Head of the Design Department at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Erbaa Vocational School; Lect. Raif Sadıç, Instructor in the Graphic Design Program; Orkun Baş, Visual Arts Teacher at Erbaa Science and Art Center; Serdar Koç, Visual Arts Teacher at Fatih Anatolian High School; Ersan Palaz, Visual Arts Teacher at Erbaa Yılmaz Kayalar Science High School; and Şeyma Usal Baş, Visual Arts Teacher.
In his statement, Mayor Ertuğrul Karagöl emphasized the importance of the contest in highlighting family values and stated:
“We were pleased to host the winners of our competition and our respected jury members, which we organized to enable students to express their feelings and thoughts about the concept of family through visual arts. I would like to thank all our children who participated with wonderful artworks throughout the mid-term holiday, as well as our valuable teachers who contributed to the evaluation process. I wish continued success to our students who integrate the concept of family with art.”
