Within the scope of the Photography course, a practical photography event titled “Walking in Autumn” was organized with the participation of students from the Fashion Design and Graphic Design programs at our Vocational School. During the event, students had the opportunity to explore the relationship between nature, space, and human presence, focusing on the aesthetic, compositional, and narrative dimensions of photography.
The activity was conducted around Boraboy Lake under the guidance of Lect. Sebiha Erarslan, Lect. Dr. Havva Sinem İnnap, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Kum. Throughout the day, students carried out creative shooting sessions, making use of the color palette and lighting atmosphere offered by the autumn season. Observations and evaluations were made on natural textures, perspective, framing, and the expressive power of photographic imagery.
In addition, an award-winning photography competition was held among the participating students as part of the event. Students who rank in the competition will be recognized with certificates and awards following the jury evaluation process.
Such applied activities aim to enhance students’ artistic perspectives, strengthen their visual expression skills, and support their theoretical knowledge through on-site practical experience. 11.11.2025
