Basic Fire Safety Training Conducted on Our Campus

In cooperation with the Erbaa Municipality Fire Department, Basic Fire Safety Training (Theoretical and Practical) was organized in order to raise awareness among our university’s academic and administrative staff and students regarding possible fire and emergency situations, to teach appropriate intervention methods, and to ensure a safe campus environment.

During the training held in the campus garden, participants were informed in detail about the causes of fires, types of fires, basic principles of first response, and the correct and effective use of fire extinguishers. Following the theoretical session, participants had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by using fire extinguishing equipment under the guidance of expert trainers.

It is evaluated that the training program has significantly contributed to increasing emergency awareness among our staff and students, thereby enhancing overall campus safety. Our university will continue to organize similar training and awareness activities within the framework of a sustainable safety culture. 04.11.2025
